Comitia Community Guidelines

1. Purpose

Comitia is a platform where creators can freely create and share stories. These Community Guidelines describe the rules necessary to maintain a safe and creative community environment.

These guidelines apply together with the Comitia Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, AI Content Policy, Creator Policy, and other applicable policies.

2. Core Community Principles

• Creativity: creating new stories and characters
• Respect: respecting other users and creators
• Safety: maintaining a safe environment for all users
• Responsibility: publishing and sharing content responsibly
• Transparency: clearly distinguishing creative, AI-generated, sponsored, or manipulated content where appropriate

3. Allowed Content

Comitia encourages the following creative activities, as long as users have the necessary rights to publish the content.

• Comic and story creation
• Character design
• Memes and creative content
• World-building and storytelling
• Fan art and creative experiments that comply with applicable law and platform policies

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is not allowed on Comitia.

4.1 Illegal Content

• Content promoting illegal activities
• Criminal-related content
• Terrorism-related content
• Content that infringes the legal rights of others

4.2 Child Safety Content

The following content is strictly prohibited.

• Child sexual exploitation content
• Sexual content involving minors
• Sexualized depiction of minors
• Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors

4.3 Hate and Discrimination

• Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Violence, dehumanization, or discrimination against specific groups
• Symbols or praise of organizations primarily associated with hate or violent extremism

4.4 Harassment and Abuse

• Harassment of individuals
• Repeated attacks
• Threats
• Doxxing or sharing private personal information without permission

4.5 Intellectual Property Violations

• Copyright infringement
• Trademark infringement
• Unauthorized copying
• Direct imitation of another creator’s work or protected character in a way that violates applicable rights

4.6 Fraud and Misinformation

• Fraudulent content
• Intentional misinformation
• Scams, phishing, or deceptive schemes
• Misleading content that could cause real-world harm

4.7 System Abuse

• Automated mass content generation intended to abuse the Service
• Abuse of service systems
• Use of bots
• Attempting to bypass safety filters, rate limits, review systems, or monetization restrictions

4.8 Sexually Explicit and Non-Consensual Sexual Content

• Graphic sexual content, including explicit sexual images, comics, text, audio, or video
• Non-consensual sexual content or sexual exploitation
• AI-generated sexual deepfakes, nude deepfakes, or sexualized images of real people without consent
• Content that promotes the creation or distribution of sexually explicit manipulated media

4.9 Dangerous, Harmful, or Self-Harm Content

• Content that promotes, glorifies, or instructs self-harm or suicide
• Content that threatens or encourages physical or mental harm to others
• Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or organized violent activity
• Content that promotes dangerous acts likely to cause serious harm
• Content that depicts or promotes animal cruelty

4.10 Misrepresentation, Deception, and Manipulated Media

• Content that misrepresents the identity, affiliation, purpose, or origin of the creator or content
• Content that impersonates another person, company, creator, or brand
• Manipulated or AI-generated media that deceives users about real-world events, public issues, or an individual’s actions
• Materially deceptive political, public-interest, or emergency-related content

4.11 Ad-Monetization and Policy Compliance

• Content designed primarily to manipulate advertising revenue
• Content that encourages users to click advertisements or interact with ads unnaturally
• Content that violates applicable advertising partner policies, including Google publisher requirements
• Content that may be removed, restricted, hidden from public discovery, or made ineligible for ads after review

5. AI-Generated Content Rules

AI-generated content must follow the following rules.

• No direct imitation of another creator’s work
• No misleading deepfakes of real individuals
• No illegal content generation
• No sexualized, exploitative, or non-consensual AI-generated content
• No deceptive use of AI-generated content to mislead users about real-world facts, identity, or events
• Users must review AI-generated content before publishing it

Comitia may use automated or manual review, safety filters, content restrictions, or removal actions to prevent policy-violating AI-generated content from being published, recommended, or monetized.

6. Content Reporting

Users may report content through in-platform reporting tools or email reports. After receiving a report, Comitia may follow this process.

3. Temporary content restriction if necessary
4. Final decision

6.1 Appeals Process

If content is removed or an account is restricted, users may submit an appeal through customer support channels. Comitia will review the request within a reasonable period.

7. Enforcement

If a user violates these guidelines, Comitia may take the following actions.

• Content removal
• Visibility restriction
• Ad ineligibility or monetization restriction
• Warning
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent account suspension

8. Policy Updates

These guidelines may be updated as the Service evolves, laws change, or advertising partner requirements change. Important changes will be announced.
